New Delhi:The BJP on Thursday blamed the Congress, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for "inciting" farmers, who were protesting against the contentious farm laws.
Earlier in the day, farmers from Punjab faced water cannons and broke police barriers at the state's border with Haryana as they pushed towards the national capital on their "Delhi Chalo" march against the Centre's farm laws.
Speaking to ETV Bharat, BJP leader and former Union Minister Vijay Sampla said the Centre was committed towards resolving the issues of farmers and hence was trying to make them understand that a solution would only be possible through dialogue.
Sampla accused the opposition parties of attempting to incite farmers over the recently enacted laws.
