Bihar govt should help flood victims: BJP

BJP spokesperson, Prem Ranjan Patel slammed Sanjay Singh over flood relief work in Bihar. He said that legislators and MPs will express resentment if the flood-affected areas are not getting proper help. The state government should do every possible help for the victims.

New Delhi:After Union Minister Giriraj Singh's statements where he alleged that Nitish Kumar government in Bihar is not taking care of his constituency Begusarai which is also a flood-affected area, Sanjay Singh, JDU spokesperson slammed him and said without Nitish Kumar BJP is zero and we are taking care of every flood-affected areas.

Sanjay Singh said that Nitish Kumar does not need BJP's support as he can form a new government without its support. Nitish government doing great work for flood victims and we will continue doing that.

While talking to ETV Bharat BJP spokesperson, Prem Ranjan Patel slammed Sanjay Singh and said that legislators and MPs will express resentment if the flood-affected areas are not getting proper help. The state government should do every possible help of the victims.

Prem Ranjan Patel said that JDU leaders should not make any statement which can impact on the alliance. They should remember that In the Lok Sabha election 2019 16 JDU MPs have won in the name of Narendra Modi.

Earlier on Sunday, BJP Begusarai MP Giriraj Singh lashed out at a Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO), while on a tour to his constituency to take stock of the situation in the aftermath of recent floods in the state.

He slammed Nitish Government for the ‘discrimination’ done by Nitish Government in relief actions in the flood-hit districts of Begusarai.
