New Delhi: Assembly elections will take place in Bihar this year and according to the sources the decision has been taken about who will contest the election from NDA.
Bihar Chief Minister and JDU National President Nitish Kumar, top BJP leaders and Union ministers and LJP's Senior leader Ram Vilas Paswan, LJP national president Chirag Paswan have taken a decision in this regard which will be formally announced in time to come.
In Bihar, NDA will contest the assembly elections under the leadership of Nitish Kumar. There are 243 assembly seats in Bihar.
According to sources, BJP and JDU will contest on 100 seats each, LJP will contest on 43 seats..All the three parties agreed on this formula and there is no tussle.
However, which party candidate will contest on which assembly seat will be decided within the next 2 months, the negotiations are going on going on the matter.
Earlier, JDU had demanded that it will contest on more seats in Bihar. However that was not agreed upon.
