New Delhi:Criticising the speech of Prime Minister Narendra in Rajya Sabha, where he spoke about India's democracy, Congress senior leader and treasurer Pawan Kumar Bansal, on Monday, said that the entire country is currently witnessing BJP's 'propaganda' based on 'falsehood'.
PM Modi was addressing the Upper House during his response to the motion of thanks to President Ram Nath Kovind's address, where he slammed the opposition parties for raising questions over the country's democracy. He said that India's nationalism is based on 'Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram'.
While speaking to ETV Bharat, Congress leader Bansal said, "That was what it was based on. But what we see today is unleashing of propaganda based entirely on falsehood. It is the 'Satya' (truth) that has been the greatest casualty of this Government in the last 7 years. That further follows with the onslaught of democracy, constitution and all the constitutional institutions."
In another attack to the opposition leaders, PM also coined a new term 'aandolanjeevi' while mentioning about the ongoing farmers' protests.
He said, "There is a new crop of 'aandolanjeevi'. They live for aandolan (protests). They look for ways to start new aandolan. The country needs to be aware of these aadnolanjeevis."
