Bigg Boss 13 Contestant Shehnaaz Gill's father accused of rape on gunpoint by woman

Bigg Boss 13 finalist Shehnaz Gill's father has been booked by the Punjab police after a woman complained that he had sexually assaulted her in his car.

Chandigarh: Bigg Boss 13 finalist Shehnaaz Gill's father Santok Singh Sukh has been accused of raping a woman at gunpoint in his car. The woman hailing from Jalandhar has filed charges against Singh saying that he sexually assaulted her at gunpoint in his car in Beas City, Amritsar.

The women told police that she had gone to his residence to meet her boyfriend and had been offered a ride by Singh.

Reportedly, the incident took place on May 14, but police registered the case days later on Tuesday (May 19) under IPC section 376 (Punishment for Rape) and 506 (Punishment for criminal intimidation) after the woman filed a complaint.

Reportedly, the accused is absconding ever since the registration of the case.

Shehnaz Gill was one of the most popular contestants of BB13. The actress entertained everyone with her funny antics and was loved by fans. Her bonding with Sidharth Shukla was one of the highlights of her journey on the reality show. In-fact in one of the episodes, Shehnaaz's father also visited her inside the house giving her piece of advice on her game strategy in the show.

The actress became the second runner-up on the show losing to first runner-up Asim Riaz and winner Sidharth Shukla.
