Kullu (Himachal Pradesh): With the threat of coronavirus infection looming large amid the resumption of domestic flight operations, Bhuntar airport authorities have developed a sanitiser machine using junk materials which can sanitise the entire airport premises in just two hours.
The sanitiser machine, which usually costs around Rs. 1 lakh, has been developed by three officials at a cost of Rs. 1,000 using junk lying around the airport building.
The brains behind the machine, R P Srivastava, who works as a security officer at the airport, said that it took a lot of effort to build this machine.
