B-town mourns the sudden demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput

While the industry is still reeling with the passing away of Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor, Bollywood has to now deal with yet another loss. Kedarnath starrer Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at the residence in Bandra on Sunday. B-town celebs including Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Karan Johar, among others grieved the actor's sudden demise.

Mumbai: Sushant Singh Rajput, the 34-year-old Bollywood actor allegedly committed suicide as his body was found hanging at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. Reactions kept pouring in from across the B-town with many celebrities including Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Karan Johar, Divya Khosla, Urmila Matondkar, among others mourned the actor's demise.

Akshay tweeted, "Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless...I remember watching #SushantSinghRajput in Chhichhore and telling my friend Sajid, its producer how much I’d enjoyed the film and wish I’d been a part of it. Such a talented actor...may God give strength to his family."

"At a loss for words.. So shocked to hear about #SushantSinghRajput’s demise. My condolences with his family," Sanjay Dutt tweeted.

"The death of Sushant Singh Rajput is the most shocking thing since the deaths of James Dean and Heath Ledger." tweeted Ram Gopal Varma.

Vivek Anand Oberoi wrote, "At a loss of words. Extremely tragic and upsetting to hear. We will all miss you immensely.

"His energy, enthusiasm and his full happy smile. May Allah bless his soul and my condolences to his near and dear ones," tweeted Shah Rukh Khan.

"Extremely shocked n deeply saddened to hear about #SushantSinghRajput how tragic.. RIP 🙏🏼," wrote Urmila Matondkar.

Reacting to the news, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said,"I can’t believe this at all... it’s shocking... a beautiful actor and a good friend... it’s disheartening."

"No matter how many reasons one reasons, it’s still unreasonable ..only good times to remember Sushant Singh Rajput," said actor Randeep Hooda.

The police said that the actor was suffering from depression from last the six months while adding that the house help informed about the incident.

According to media reports, he was seen with his friends last night.His death comes just days after his former manager Disha Salian allegedly committed suicide by jumping off a building in Mumbai."It's such devastating news.

My deepest condolences to Disha's family and friends. May your soul rest in peace," Sushant Singh Rajput had said after Disha's death.
