Besides these, the Uttar Pradesh government also plans to start a cruise on the Saryu river on lines similar to that of Varanasi.

Speaking to ETV Bharat, sitting MP and BJP candidate Lallu Singh said that the government is in the process of finalising development programs for the holy city and that the work will be started at a very fast pace.

He also said that there is complete peace and harmony in Ayodhya and people have accepted the Supreme Court's verdict on the sensitive land dispute case.

Singh, however, took a dig at AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and accused him of creating hurdles for vote-bank politics.

"Some people are still doing politics even after the Supreme Court's verdict. They will still continue to do it because their business runs on these issues only," he said.

For the temple, the Centre is contemplating over a multi-member trust, which will be responsible for the construction of the temple in Ayodhya. It's also being discussed if instead of forming a new body if some changes can be done to old Ram Janm Bhumi Nyas by inducting new members.

A team of officials has been tasked with studying the top court order threadbare for its technicality and nuances so that the trust can be constituted exactly as per the verdict.

Asked whether he will be a part of the trust, the minister said that the government will take the final call on who will be the part of the trust and the participants will be finalised by the Prime Minister's Office.

According to sources, the Ram temple construction will begin in April next year and it will be ready by 2022.
