Aurangabad: A youth from Aurangabad has developed a robot that can be used to sanitise objects and spaces within minutes.
Rohit has named his machine 'Corona-killer Robot' and expressed confidence that his invention can be "extremely useful".
Developed at a cost of Rs. 5,000, the portable robot uses ultraviolet rays to sanitise.
"Ultraviolet rays can destroy all microbes, and with the help of the handle attached to the machine, it can be used on every object," told Rohit.
Aurangabad youth develops sanitiser robot Interestingly, this is not his first invention. He had, earlier, developed an anti-theft helmet that is needed to be worn for a two-wheeler to start. He also made a ceiling fan that cannot be used by anyone to hang oneself from to commit suicide.
Owing to his out-of-the-box inventions, he has earned the name of 'Rancho' - a popular character from the Hindi movie 'Three Idiots'.
