Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday asked the saffron party to declare its chief ministerial candidate by 1 pm on Wednesday - a day before the Assembly elections are supposed to take place.

New Delhi: Taking a dig at the Bharatiya Janta Party, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday asked the saffron party to declare its chief ministerial candidate by 1 pm on Wednesday - a day before the Assembly elections are supposed to take place.

"People of Delhi are demanding that BJP reveal its chief ministerial candidate. People want to know who they are voting for. If they do not reveal their CM candidate, then the votes of the people are going into a pit," said Kejriwal.

Earlier, Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said that BJP would go to polls in Delhi without a CM face.

“BJP will form the next government in Delhi under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi,” Shah told party workers during his address.
