Porbandar (Gujarat):During the 21-day lockdown period, many artistes are spreading awareness about the deadly virus by their works of art sitting at home. Many singers have penned songs with the message, “Stay home, stay safe.”
An artist from Porbandar, Gujarat, Karshanbhai Odedra has made pencil drawings during the lockdown period sitting at home to spread awareness about the use of masks and sanitizer to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
These pictures are unique. In some of the pictures, temples are shown as closed, while doctors are depicted as God.
A recent picture is about Coronavirus spreading because of a large congregation at Merkaz in Nizamuddin, while another shows caged birds set free.
Drawing has been the hobby of artist Karshanbhai Odedra since childhood. At present, he is associated with the Innovative Group of Porbandar which teaches drawing every Saturday without charging any fee at the Natwarsinhji Art Gallery.
