Army ready to take control of PoK: Gen Naravane

New Delhi:In an address to the media, Army Chief Gen M M Naravane said that if the order comes from the parliament, the army is ready to reclaim Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).

Commenting on PoK General Naravane said: "If Parliament wants that area should be taken we will definitely do so and action will be taken accordingly."

When asked whether PoK has to be taken and the government has given go-ahead signal, Gen Naravane stressed that whenever the government directs it will be done.

"If that be the mandate so be it," he said adding that there was a parliamentary resolution that entire erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir is part of India.
