Argentina President arrives in India on 3-day visit

New Delhi: Argentina's President Mauricio Macri arrived here Sunday on a three-day India visit and was received at the airport by Information and Broadcasting Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore.

He was accompanied by Argentina's First Lady Juliana Awada. He visited Taj Mahal in Agra along with her.

President Macri, who came with a business delegation, will travel to Mumbai on February 19.

The visit comes at a time when both the countries are celebrating the 70th year of the establishment of diplomatic ties between India and Argentina.

Prime Minister Modi and President Macri met three times last year.
