Interacting with the ETV Bharat here, the BJP leader said the protesters at Shaheen Bagh have no right to block roads as it is causing trouble to a large number of people in the city.

"The case is with the Supreme Court and the court will decide now what has to be done," he said, when asked that the protesters were not convinced with the top court-appointed interlocutors, who met them on Wednesday.

"It's a politics of being adamant. It's not good and it won't work," the BJP Rajya Sabha MP asserted.

In their first attempt on Wednesday, the interlocutors reached out to the protesters and requested them to shift the venue of their protest against the CAA. A large number of protesters, mostly women, have been demonstrating against the newly amended citizenship act for over two months, leading to traffic jams in the area.
