Ailing Goa CM Parrikar hospitalised, again

Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, who was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer in February 2018, was once again admitted to Goa Medical College for 'tests and examinations'. The tests were to check for internal bleeding, which was his issue last week.

Panaji: Ailing Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar was again hospitalised for "tests and examinations" on Sunday, a hospital official said here.

"The Chief Minister has been admitted to conduct tests and examinations to check if the internal bleeding, which he was suffering from, is completely under check," the official from the state-run Goa Medical College, said on the condition of anonymity.

Parrikar was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer in February 2018 and has been in and out of hospitals in Goa, Mumbai, Delhi, and New York since.

He was admitted at the Goa Medical College for nearly a week last month after he suffered from internal bleeding.
