After Hindu rituals, Chaubey says he is ready to take challenges

Ashwini Kumar Chaubey performed puja according to Hindu rituals before taking charge of the Ministry of State for Health and Family Welfare on Tuesday. He travelled by metro and then by foot, to reach the ministry.

New Delhi: Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Ashwini Kumar Chaubey on Tuesday took charge of his ministry at Nirman Bhawan, after performing puja according to Hindu rituals.

Chaubey first took Delhi metro train to reach Udoyag Bhawan and from there he reached his ministry on foot. He performed puja and took blessings from priests before entering his chamber.

"I have come here with the blessings of God. Now I will follow God's direction to fulfil the expectations of the people of Buxar and my fellow Indians," said emotional Chaubey.

Chaubey has been inducted in the Narendra Modi government 2.0 for the first time.

He said that he will expedite the ongoing health projects. "We will make our Ayushman Bharat initiative better," said Chaubey.

The minister said that he will work for Swacch Bharat Swasth Bharat.

"I know God will always bless us and I will always follow the principle of Saabka Sath Saabka Vikas," said Chaubey.
