Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury must apologise for calling PM, HM intruders: Ram Kripal Yadav

BJP MP Ram Kripal Yadav has demanded an apology from Congress' Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury for calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah 'intruders'.

New Delhi: BJP MP Ram Kripal Yadav on Monday demanded an unconditional apology from Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury for terming Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah 'intruders', saying it was insulting to the top leaders of the country.

"Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury must apologies and the Congress should take action against him," he told ETV Bharat here.

The BJP leader said comments like these hurt public sentiments. Yadav said Chowdhury has been in a habit of indulging in such acts.

"Prime Minister is the leader of the nation. How can he make such comments," he said. Attacking Modi and Shah, Chowdhury, expressing strong reservation on the issue of NRC, said the two were 'intruders'.
