The protest witnessed the participation of people from all walks of life particularly the youth who expressed their support for the CAA which seeks to provide citizenship to six non-Muslim minorities from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

"This programme has been organised to spread awareness about the Act. A lot of people are falling prey to rumours and are forming opinions based on those rumours, " said one of the participants at the protest.

Another participant questioned the anti-CAA protests and said, "We are willing to give space to the minorities from other countries in our country, why do people have a problem with it?"
