New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party's MLA Raghav Chadha was appointed as the party's co-incharge for the Punjab unit ahead of assembly polls in the state in 2022.
Speaking to ETV Bharat on party's strategy for the Punjab assembly elections, Chadha said that the party has fared well in Punjab since the very beginning, whether it was the victory of four MPs in the 2014 elections or the first time it became the main opposition party in the 2017 elections.
He said that people of Punjab are now bored with Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) and Congress, that is why they are with Aam Aadmi Party.
Speaking on farmers' protest against the newly enacted farm laws, Chadha said, the Aam Aadmi Party always stands with the interests of the farmers and the party has also made arrangements for water, toilets and food for the farmers at Singhu border.
