Jaunpur (Uttar Pradesh): In the third phase of lockdown, a large number of families are facing starvation as all businesses have come to a standstill. Moreover, the Muslim holy month of Ramzan too coincided with the lockdown.
Communal Harmony: Hindu youth adopts a physically challenged Muslim family Following the lockdown it became difficult for a Muslim physically challenged man who lives in Gazna village of the district to sustain his family. The two other members of the Muslim family are physically challenged.
The head of the family, Imtiaz used to beg in front of mosques to make out a living. However, now that the mosques are all closed, and people too are locked inside their homes, Imtiaz cannot get any alms.
However in these difficult times as well there are people who put humanity above all. Seeing his pitiable condition, a young man from the village took upon himself the responsibility of feeding the poor man's entire family. Rishi Yadav, a youth from the same village, proved to be an angel for this destitute Muslim family.
Rishi adopted Imtiaz’s family and has been giving them provisions, milk and other essentials. He also instructed a neighborhood shop to give Imtiaz all that the family needs in their day to day life.
People of the district are praising Rishi for this humanitarian act. Rishi has set an example of Hindu-Muslim camaraderie.
