New Delhi: Delhi Metro services have resumed but it is imperative for passengers to follow the rules in place for the coronavirus pandemic.
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation cracked the whip on Friday when 92 persons were fined for not following the pandemic rules.
DMRC has deployed squads to enforce the mandatory requirements to use the metro trains.
DMRC Executive Director Anuj Dayal said: "Flying squads issued an advisory to more than 150 passengers about the guidelines to be followed in the Metro."
"Ninety-two passengers were also fined under Section 59 of the Delhi Metro Operation and Management Act," he added.
