Andhra Pradesh: 4 of family end life by jumping in front of train

Kurnool: Four members of a family allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train in Andhra Pradesh's Kurnool district on Tuesday.  

Gafar, the head of the family, was convicted in a gold theft case, police said. 

"The bodies of a couple and two children were found on the railway tracks. The family came from Nandyal in an auto-rickshaw and committed suicide," the police said. "One of the bodies is of Gafar and the family lived in Rojakunta," he said.

The bodies have been sent for post mortem, the official added.
