Delivery boys arrested for raping woman in Gurugram

Police said the incident took place in the posh DLF Phase-2 area and they are trying to find out if the victim and the attackers were known to each other.

Gurugram: Police in Haryana have arrested four food delivery boys for allegedly raping a 32-year-old woman. She was also beaten up during the incident in Gurugram on Saturday.

Police said the incident took place in the posh DLF Phase-2 area. The men have been identified as Pankaj, Pawan, Ranjan and Gobind. Police are trying to find out if they knew the victim beforehand.

The four are employees of Zomato and Swiggy. Initially, the victim was admitted to a local government hospital for treatment, but when her condition worsened, she was moved to Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi.

Police said they were waiting for the woman to recover to record her statement.
