Panaji (Goa): Three persons out of seven who had returned to Goa on Friday, after visiting West Bengal's South 24 Pargana district, have tested positive for coronavirus, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane said on Saturday, adding that the second round of tests was being carried out for reconfirmation.
Rane said, that the seven persons, all working professionals had gone to West Bengal last month and had returned by road.

"Seven people had gone from Goa on April 21, mostly professionals who had gone to deliver barges in Kolkata. They stayed in Gangasagar which is a green zone. On May 3, they were taken to some other place by boat and then subsequently they had reached Goa on Friday morning," Rane told reporters.
