2 Security personnel deployed outside Uttar Pradesh CM's residence test Covid-19 +ve

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath 's security personnel tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday. The house of the Chief Minister will be thoroughly sanitised. Five ministers of Uttar Pradesh government and several individuals of their families have been confirmed coronavirus positive.

Lucknow: Two personnel deployed in Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's security contingent tested Coronavirus positive on Thursday.

Both the infected security personnel belong to the Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC) who were deployed at the outer circle of the Chief Minister's residence.

The house of the Chief Minister will be thoroughly sanitised.

Significantly, even before this, 5 ministers of Uttar Pradesh government and several individuals of their families were confirmed coronavirus positive.

These include the family of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya.

In the last 24 hours, 308 fresh Coronavirus cases were recorded only in Lucknow. At the same time, 45 people have died due to Coronavirus infection in the city.

Uttar Pradesh has had over 41,000 COVID-19 cases out of which 25,700 have recovered while over 1,000 have succumbed to the disease. The state currently has 14,600 active coronavirus cases.
