Two killed as crude bomb explodes in West Bengal

A seriously injured person is receiving treatment at Sagar Dutta Medical College Hospital as police investigate the explosion in Kamarhati Golaghat area.

North 24 Parganas (West Bengal): Two people were killed and two others were injured when a crude bomb went off at a house in Kamarhati Golaghat area in West Bengal, police said.

The dead have been identified as Sajid and Raja, according to police.

Police in Kamarhati moved the casualties from the scene to the hospital.

Two of them died later and a third victim with serious injuries is being treated at Sagar Dutta Medical College Hospital.

An investigation into the explosion is underway.
