16th Lok Sabha passed 240 bills, had 312 sittings: ADR Report
According to a report released by the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR) on Wednesday, the outgoing Lok Sabha passed 240 bills out of the 273 bills introduced during its tenure.

New Delhi:The outgoing Lok Sabha passed 240 bills out of the 273 bills introducedduring its tenure. While10 bills were withdrawn, 23 bills remained pending, stated a report of election watchdogAssociation for Democratic Reforms (ADR)on Wednesday.
In the 16th Lok Sabha, on an average, 562 MPs have attended 221 out of 312 sittings and asked 251 questions. 7 MPs from Delhi have the highest average attendance, by attending 289 out of 312 sittings, while 2 MPs from Nagaland have the least attendance in 88 out of 312 sittings.
Among the states, 50 MPs from Maharashtra asked the highest number of questions in the 16th Lok Sabha. Supriya Sule of NCP, an MP from Maharashtra's Baramati ofNationalist Congress Party, has asked the highest number of questions, 1181 in number. 2 MPs from NPP have asked the lowest number of questions, which were just 10.
