Bathukamma song scored by A R Rahman released

Grammy award winner and Oscar Awardee A R Rahman composed Bathukamma song was released on Tuesday evening. Telangana will celebrate the nine days Bathukamma festival starting from Wednesday.

Hyderabad:Allipoola Vennela Bathukamma, the song scored by prominent music director A R Rahman and filmed by director Gautham Vasudev Menon was released on Tuesday evening. Telangana will celebrate the nine-day festival of Bathukamma on Wednesday.

Telangana Jagruthi has produced the song with the lyrics penned by Mittepally Surender. Uttara Unnikrishnan has sung the song and national award winner Brinda has done the choreography.

MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha and Gautham Vasudev Menon released the song on Tuesday evening. A R Rahman conveyed his wishes by taking to Twitter. He tweeted his wishes to the people of Telangana.

No copyright has been claimed for the song. Telangana's state festival Bathukamma starts on Wednesday. The festivities starting on Mahalaya Amavasya will culminate on Durgashtami with Sadhula Bathukamma.
