Artificial Intelligence latest tool to assess students for coaching centre in Rajasthan

A private coaching centre 'Reliable' at Kota in Rajasthan, touted as coaching capital of India, is using Artificial Intelligence to track the academic performance of students preparing for medical and engineering entrance exams. AI helps even in deciding to what stream a Class X student needs to opt for in the future

Kota (Rajasthan):Touted as the 'coaching capital of India', Kota in Rajasthan is home to several coaching centres that witness an influx of aspiring students for medical and engineering. A private coaching centre 'Reliable' in the city has gone to the next level by using Artificial Intelligence to track the academic performance of students preparing for entrance exams.

Chandrashekhar Sharma, the HOD of Physics at the coaching institute, said, "Nowadays, Artificial Intelligence is being used everywhere. It is also being used in academics. Online classes had begun in the institute post the lockdown in 2020. Since then online tests for students are being held using a machine learning system. Also, our info about how to manage time during examinations has also helped many students score good marks in JEE Main exam."

He further added saying that AI helps even in deciding to what stream a Class X student needs to opt for in the future. Once the student gives an online test, an analysis of the report clearly shows in which subject he is good and in which subject he needs improvement. Also, the behaviour of the student can be easily tracked.

Experts believe that this process is similar to a diagnostic test like an X-ray or blood test, wherein the root cause of the disease can be detected. Once the weakness of the student is discovered, this would help them focus on improving their level of education, they say, adding that by doing so from the initial stages an interest can be developed within the child towards a subject of his/her interest.
