Haryana's Sainik schools to admit girls for 2021-22

To promote the participation of women in the army, it has been decided to give admission to girls in all the 33 schools in the country in the academic year 2021-22. The online admission process has started and a notification related to admission can be obtained by visiting the official website of Sainik School Entrance Exam, aissee.nta.nic.in.

Rewari: Following the Ministry of Defence's instructions that 10 per cent of the total vacancies in schools or minimum 10 seats should be reserved for girls, the Rewari, Kunjpura and Karnal Sainik schools are preparing to induct girls in class 6 from the upcoming academic session.

The online admission process has started and a notification related to admission can be obtained by visiting the official website of Sainik School Entrance Exam aissee.nta.nic.in.

According to Colonel S.K. Dhar, the Principal of Sainik School in Rewari district of Haryana, based on the instructions of the Ministry of Defence, it has been decided to admit girls in 33 schools in the country for the academic year 2021-22.

In another first for the Sainik schools, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct the All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination-2021 (AISSEE) on January 10, 2021.
