Prayagraj: The Allahabad High Court has suggested declaring the cow as the national animal in view of its Vedic, mythological, cultural importance and social utility. The court said that in India, the cow is considered a 'mother'. It is a matter of faith for the Hindus. Hitting on faith weakens the country, the High Court also suggested that the "taste of tongue" does not have the right to take away life.
The court said that eating beef is not a fundamental right of anyone. The right to life cannot be taken away for the taste of the tongue. Even the old, sick cow is also useful for agriculture. It is not right to allow the killing of the animal. The cow is the backbone of Indian agriculture. It also said that India is the only country in the whole world where people of all sects live. Everyone's worship method may be different, but everyone's thinking is the same. Everyone respects each other's religion. The court said that if the person who killed a cow is released, he will commit the crime again.
