Lalu expressed concern the manner in which police handled the situation inside the Bihar Legislative Assembly. He said that the incident where police charged the MLAs inside the Bihar Legislative Assembly during the budget session was unfortunate. "This must have never happened but in the current monsoon session of the Bihar Legislative Assembly, Tejashwi is constantly cornering the government on this issue. He is doing a good work," he said.

All Opposition parties should unite against Modi govt, says Lalu

Notably, Lalu has recently been released from jail after getting bail in the fodder scam. Owing to his poor health condition, he is currently staying in New Delhi with his daughter and Rajya Sabha MP Misa Bharti.
