Chennai: Vijayalakshmi, the wife of AIADMK co-coordinator and deputy leader of the Opposition in the Tamil Nadu Assembly O Panneerselvam, passed away in Chennai on Wednesday morning.
The 63-year-old is said to have died of a heart attack.

Vijayalakshmi, the wife of AIADMK co-coordinator and deputy leader of the Opposition in the Tamil Nadu Assembly O Panneerselvam, passed away in Chennai.

Vijayalakshmi was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Chennai for the past two weeks due to ill health.
Her body will be taken to Periyakulam, native place of Panneerselvam, and the last rites are expected to be performed on Thursday.
