Mumbai:A four-storey building collapsed at Saibaba Nagar of Borivali West in Mumbai on Friday, according to the Fire Brigade. At least eight fire engines and fire brigade personnel rushed to the spot, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) said. There has been no report of casualties so far while rescue efforts are underway.

A four-storey building collapsed at Saibaba Nagar of Borivali West in Mumbai on Friday.
At least 5-6 people are feared to be trapped inside the Geetanjali Building near the Saibaba temple that collapsed around 12:30 pm on Friday. The fire brigade personnel are checking whether anyone was trapped under the debris, an official said. As per the information given by the R-Central ward of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the building was declared dilapidated and had been vacated, another official said.
However, after the accident in the A wing, the BMC and the police ordered an immediate evacuation of 75 families living in the remaining 3 buildings of the complex. All these husbands have been arranged by BMC to stay in BMC school.
