Pithoragarh (Uttarakhand): An earthquake of 4.1 magnitude has once again struck Pithoragarh district, Uttarakhand, post-midnight at 12.39 am on Thursday, District Disaster Management Officer Bhupendra Mahar said.
He also stated that the depth of the earthquake ranged up to 10 km in Askot area of Didihat which is reported to be the centre of the quake.
Mild tremors were felt in Munsiyari and Dharchula including district headquarters as well as in some parts of Nepal.
People quit homes and came on the streets during the quake.
"No damage has been reported so far as the earthquake was of mild intensity," Mahar said.
