35 doctors, 15 staffers of AIIMS Delhi test Covid-19 positive

Doctors and staffers of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi and Bhopal have tested positive following a spike in the number of Covid-19 cases.

New Delhi/Bhopal:About 35 doctors and 15 health workers of All India Institute Of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi have tested positive for coronavirus on Friday.

In the wake of the rising number of COVID-19 cases, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi on Thursday had decided that only urgent procedures/surgeries will be taken up in its operation theatres from April 10.

Meanwhile, 53 health workers including 38 doctors of Bhopal AIIMS also have reported positive the novel coronavirus on the same day.
