Agra: Former UK PM Rishi Sunak, his wife Akshata Narayan Murthy, daughters Anushka and Krishna and mother-in-law Sudha Murthy visited the Taj Mahal here on Saturday. During their visit, they stayed at the Taj Mahal for about an hour, took a lot of videos and photographs.
Rishi Sunak's two daughters were overjoyed to see the Taj Mahal. When they saw the Taj from the Royal Gate, they said... 'Amazing'. During this, former PM Rishi Sunak's wife, both daughters and mother-in-law Sudha Murthy asked senior tourist guide Shamsuddin many questions about the Taj Mahal. The daughters asked how the colours were applied to the mosaics. They asked questions about Mumtaz and also about various other topics like the height of the Taj Mahal and the symbols of Hinduism.
This morning, they arrived along with a delegation at Agra's Kheria Airport by a special plane on a two-day visit. They rested at a hotel near Shilpgram before going on a visit to the Taj Mahal.
