Rishi Sunak, Akshata Murthy Visit Taj Mahal Along With Two Daughters And Sudha Murthy

Former UK PM Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murthy accompanied by their two daughters and Akshata's mother Sudha Murty visit the Taj Mahal.

Agra: Former UK PM Rishi Sunak, his wife Akshata Narayan Murthy, daughters Anushka and Krishna and mother-in-law Sudha Murthy visited the Taj Mahal here on Saturday. During their visit, they stayed at the Taj Mahal for about an hour, took a lot of videos and photographs.

Rishi Sunak's two daughters were overjoyed to see the Taj Mahal. When they saw the Taj from the Royal Gate, they said... 'Amazing'. During this, former PM Rishi Sunak's wife, both daughters and mother-in-law Sudha Murthy asked senior tourist guide Shamsuddin many questions about the Taj Mahal. The daughters asked how the colours were applied to the mosaics. They asked questions about Mumtaz and also about various other topics like the height of the Taj Mahal and the symbols of Hinduism.

This morning, they arrived along with a delegation at Agra's Kheria Airport by a special plane on a two-day visit. They rested at a hotel near Shilpgram before going on a visit to the Taj Mahal.

Earlier in the day, the district administration made elaborate arrangements and outlined the schedule for the high-profile visit, confirming that Sunak and his entourage would arrive in Agra by a special plane from New Delhi.

Rishi Sunak and Akshata had in the past expressed their wish to visit the Taj Mahal, one of the world's most famous monuments, known for its rich historical significance.

Akshata Murthy, the daughter of Infosys founder Narayan Murthy and Sudha Murthy, is a well-known fashion designer. Both she and her husband have often spoken about their attachment to India and its culture. the visit to Agra is a significant moment for the couple, combining their personal interests and admiration for India's heritage.
