New Delhi: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday released first part of its manifesto 'Sankalp Patra' for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025. While unveiling the poll manifesto, Union Minister and BJP's national president JP Nadda assured that the existing welfare schemes would continue in Delhi if his party is voted to power.
Addressing a press conference at the state party office, Nadda said the party's manifesto will lay the foundation for a Viksit Delhi (Developed Delhi). "Our objective remains good governance, development, women empowerment, and farmers' progress," he pointed.
Nadda said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the culture of politics in India. "We made 500 promises in 2014, managed to fulfil 499 of those. In 2019, we made 235 promises and fulfilled 225, and the rest were in the implementation stage. Under PM Modi's leadership, even the promises that were not made have also been fulfilled. Therefore, the manifesto was named Sankalp Patra and taking it to completion is our goal (Sankalp to Siddhi)," claimed Nadda.
