Ahmedabad: In a heart-wrenching incident, a 23-year-old student from Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA) in Ahmedabad was fatally stabbed by an unidentified man just hours after giving his measurement to have a suit stitched for upcoming job interviews in Bopal on Sunday night.
Priyanshu Jain succumbed to his injuries after a car driver attacked him at Bopal Fire Station Chowk following an altercation. Police said, "On the fateful night, Jain and his friends were riding past the area on a bullet after buying a cake from a pastry shop in the city’s Bopal area around 10.30 pm when an unknown car driver overtook them, taking a turn at a four-way."
Soon after, an argument ensued between Jain and the car driver who immediately attacked Jain with a knife, causing the latter severe blood loss. Despite rushing Jain to a private hospital nearby, doctors declared him brought dead.
Jain's friend lodged an FIR against the driver and a case was registered against the accused driver whose identity has not been ascertained yet.
