Hyderabad:The prevalence of on-set social media leaks has become a persistent challenge for film industries worldwide, with top stars' looks and scenes often surfacing online. Telugu superstars Prabhas and Allu Arjun are the latest to experience this, as recent leaks have revealed glimpses of their upcoming projects.
The leaked image of Prabhas showcases the actor in a divine avatar bearing a resemblance to Lord Shiva. In the picture, he wears a Vibhuthi on his forehead and a large Rudraksha garland. Following the unauthorised circulation of leaked photos from the Kannappa set, the film's team have issued a public appeal urging fans not to share the images. They have also announced a generous reward for anyone who can help trace the source of the leak.
In a statement shared on Instagram, the Kannapa team wrote, "Dear Prabhas fans and supporters, for the past eight years, we have poured our hearts and souls into Kannappa. After two years of intense production, our team is dedicated to bringing you a film of unmatched quality and passion. It is with deep sadness that we recently discovered a work-in-progress image from the film has been stolen and leaked without authorization."
"This breach not only undermines our hard work but affects thousands of people, including over 2,000 VFX artists, who have been working tirelessly on this project. We are committed to uncovering how this leak happened and evaluating options to file a police complaint to hold those responsible for this leak," the team wrote.
"We are reaching out to you, our loyal fans, for support. We urge you not to share this leaked image/ footage as doing so will make individuals liable for legal action. Anyone with information that can help us trace the origin of this leak will be rewarded with Rs 5,00,000. Please send any leads directly to the official 24 Frames Factory Twitter account," the statement read.
