Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh) :Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday unveiled various projects in diverse sectors such as healthcare, education, transportation, waterways, sports, and cultural heritage in his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi, on Friday. The Prime Minister laid the foundation of projects worth Rs 13,000 cr in Varanasi.
The PM also took part in a programme at Banaras Hindu University (BHU), where he handed over awards to the winners of the Kashi Sansad Gyan Pratiyogita, Kashi Sansad Photography Pratiyogita, and Kashi Sansad Sanskrit Pratiyogita and also extended wishes to their parents.
Speaking on the occasion, the PM assured the people that in the next five years, the country will become a model for development and this is the 'Modi guarantee'. He further described Kashi as a model of heritage and development. The echo of India's rich heritage, he told the gathering, is being heard all over the world.
