Ladwa:Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini won from the Ladwa Assembly Seat in the election results today. Speaking to reporters later, CM Saini said he would like to thank the people of Ladwa and all the 2.80 crore population of Haryana. He gave the credit for this victory to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He asserted that the people of Haryana have put a stamp of their approval on the policies of PM Modi.

In this election, the attention of the entire country is on the Ladwa seat in the Kurukshetra district of Haryana. The ruling BJP has fielded Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini from the Ladwa seat. Right from the early trends of the Election Results, CM Nayab Singh Saini took lead over Congress candidate and sitting MLA Mewa Singh.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is also in the fray with its candidate Joga Singh. The Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP has fielded Joga Singh Umri while the Jannayak Janta Party has fielded Vinod Kumar Sharma. The political history of the Ladwa seat is full of intrigue and suspense. INLD has fielded Sapna Barshami in this seat.

Saini is hoping to win the election and the saffron party has projected the development works it has executed in the state in the last 10 years. Ladwa recorded a voter turnout of 74.96 per cent. The voting took place on October 5. Haryana Assembly has 90 seats and the BJP has established clear leads in early trends and looked all set for a third straight term.

In the 2019 polls, Mewa Singh of the Congress defeated BJP's Dr Pawan Saini and INLD's Sapna Barshami. BJP took a calculated risk by replacing Manohar Lal Khattar with Nayab Saini just five months ahead of the Assembly elections.
