So, everybody can play football, but not everybody are good in football and can become professional. So, you can allow your kids to play games and send them to competitions. So, don't just let them play for nothing. As they play and train, and send them to competition, if they have a talent to become big then you can make a decision to support or not. Because if he have a talent, he maybe can become a millionaire one day from the esports. So, parents have the chance to decide actually. So, if kids are not that good in games, just treat it as hobby only, so you can control everything you want, but if your kid has talent, don't waste his talent."

"A lot of people just think that we are just playing games, all day every day, but actually, for Hearthstone in particular, for example, our practice day starts with physical exercise. We have to make sure that our body is fit so that when we play the game, you know, we can still play for a long amount of time. But in addition to that, we also know that playing too long is dangerous so, for example, between our games, we get up and walk around, we make it a point to move around and still do physical activities throughout the day."

And all of this different, learning points. Competitive video gaming, or Esports as it's known, has debuted as a medal event at the 30th edition of the Southeast Asian Games in the Philippines.
Competitors say the event could be a springboard to gaming appearing at other international events, perhaps even the Olympic Games one day.
STORYLINE:
Game on in Manila. For the first time, esports is appearing as a medal event at the Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games), this year being held in the Philippines.
It's one of 56 sports, alongside more traditional games, such as basketball and football.
"We feel very honored that we get the recognition that we (have) been longing for, so all the players are very excited," says Firdaus Hashim, the manager of Malaysia's Esports team.
"Although esports is normally, we play for money, but this time it's very different, we play for the country and we have the whole country to back us for this tournament."
The global esports market is expected to surge to $1.1 billion this year, up $230 million from 2018 on growth in sponsorships, merchandise and ticket sales, according to Newzoo.
The research firm expects the global esports audience to grow in 2019 to about 454 million as fans tune in on livestreaming platforms such as Twitch and Microsoft's Mixer.
Esports tournaments have become a cultural phenomenon and now rival traditional sports events in size and scale.
Big competitions are held in arenas, where thousands of fans watch big-name professional video gamers compete for lucrative prize pools.
"A lot of the young kids, for example, just think you just have to play a lot of games to be competitive," says Reza Servia, a coach for the Indonesian team.
"Where in actuality, yes, you have to be good at the game and playing helps it, but you also have to have a good strategy and have a good understanding of the game mechanics and stuff like that."
The biennial games, which started in 1959 in the Thai capital of Bangkok, began Saturday 30 November and will run till 11 December.
Esports events began on 5 December.
The games is featuring six titles: Dota 2, StarCraft II, Hearthstone, Arena of Valor, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and Tekken 7.
Eleven nations are participating in the SEA Games - Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam and the Philippines - but only nine are sending esports players to the games.
Singapore team member Thomas Maria Kopankiewic hopes the games will act a springboard to other international sporting events.
"It's just amazing how far esports has come to even make through to the SEA games and eventually ASEAN games, and maybe even one day in the Olympics," he says.
The Southeast Asian Games, or 2019 SEA Games, will be the 30th edition of the biennial regional multi-sport event.
It's the fourth time the Philippines has hosted the games, the first time since 2005.
This edition of the games is most notable for being the first edition to include esports and obstacle course racing, as well as having the highest number of sports in the history of the games at 56.
"I'm quite happy that esports is appearing in SEA games at least. So it's making it more legit, more real," says esports fan Umehara Keigi.
"Esports is not for kids, you know, it's a real sport."
