టీమిండియాతో జరిగే టీ20 సిరీస్ కోసం జట్టును ప్రకటించింది న్యూజిలాండ్ క్రికెట్ జట్టు సెలక్షన్ కమిటీ. హమీష్ బెన్నెట్కు స్థానం లభించగా బౌల్ట్, ఫెర్గుసన్ గాయం కారణంగా దూరమయ్యారు.

టీమిండియాతో జరిగే ఐదు మ్యాచ్ల టీ20 సిరీస్ కోసం జట్టును ప్రకటించింది న్యూజిలాండ్ క్రికెట్ సెలక్షన్ కమిటీ. విలియమ్సన్ సారథ్యంలో 14 మంది పేర్లను తెలిపింది. ఇందులో ఆశ్చర్యకరంగా వెటరన్ ఆటగాడు హమీష్ బెన్నెట్కు స్థానం కల్పించింది. ట్రెంట్ బౌల్ట్, ఫెర్గుసన్ గాయం కారణంగా దూరమయ్యారు.

32 ఏళ్ల హమీష్ రెండున్నరేళ్ల క్రితం ముందు కివీస్ జట్టులో సభ్యుడు. 2011 ప్రపంచకప్లోనూ ఆడాడు. అనంతరం చోటును కోల్పోయాడు. చివరగా 2017లో బంగ్లాదేశ్తో మ్యాచ్ ఆడాడు. ప్రస్తుతం దేశవాళీ టోర్నీల్లో అదరగొడుతుండటం, బౌల్ట్, ఫెర్గుసన్ గాయాలబారిన పడటం వల్ల ఇతడికి చోటు లభించింది.

జనవరి 24న న్యూజిలాండ్తో ఐదు మ్యాచ్ల టీ20 సిరీస్ ప్రారంభమవుతుంది. అనంతరం మూడు వన్డేలు, రెండు టెస్టులూ జరగనున్నాయి.

STORYLINE:
Luka Doncic had 25 points, 15 rebounds and a career-high 17 assists for his NBA-leading 12th triple-double, and the Dallas Mavericks held off a late run to beat the Sacramento Kings 127-123 on Wednesday night.
Seth Curry scored 21 points off the bench as Dallas won its third straight despite the absence of Kristaps Porzingis, who missed his ninth consecutive game. Dwight Powell added 17 points and nine rebounds, and Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 18.
De'Aaron Fox had 27 points and 12 assists for Sacramento. Harrison Barnes and Buddy Hield scored 25 apiece.
Playing the second half of a back-to-back following a 27-point win over Golden State, the Mavericks scored 71 points in the first half and handed the Kings their third straight loss.
