వెంకటేశ్ చిత్రంలో నవాజుద్దీన్..!

బాలీవుడ్  విలక్షణ నటుడు నవాజుద్దీన్ తెలుగు సినిమాల్లో ఎంట్రీ ఇచ్చేందుకు సిద్ధమవుతున్నాడట. వెంకటేశ్ హీరోగా తరుణ్ భాస్కర్​ దర్శకత్వంలో రాబోయే చిత్రంలో ఓ కీలకపాత్ర కోసం ఈ నటుడిని చిత్రబృందం సంప్రదించినట్లు సమాచారం.

బాలీవుడ్ నటుడు నవాజుద్దీన్ త్వరలోనే తెలుగులోకి ఎంట్రీ ఇవ్వనున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. తమిళ సూపర్ స్టార్ రజనీకాంత్​ నటించిన 'పేట'లో కీలక పాత్ర పోషించాడీ విలక్షణ నటుడు. ఇప్పటివరకు తెలుగు సినిమా మాత్రం చేయలేదు.

వెంకటేశ్ కథానాయకుడిగా 'పెళ్లి చూపులు' దర్శకుడు తరుణ్ భాస్కర్ ఓ చిత్రాన్ని తెరకెక్కించనున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ఈ సినిమాకు సురేశ్ బాబు నిర్మాతగా వ్యవహిరించనున్నాడట. ఈ చిత్రంలో కీలకపాత్ర కోసం చిత్రంబృందం నవాజుద్దీన్​ను సంప్రదించినట్లు సమాచారం.

Cumberbatch:  "When you work on a film for months, years in some cases, you want it to have a life. You want it to have some kind of recognition of the collaborative forces that went into making something, and it belongs to a lot of people, no more so than Michael Mitnick, who wrote the original script and Alfonso (Gomez-Rejon, director). So it's just good to be at the end of this journey and finally have something that our Alfonso's thrilled to be showing us his film."

Middleton: "It feels almost like a different film—not an entirely different film. But we did lots of additional photography, had new scenes—the cut was very different. And it yeah, it feels like this is the version that was always meant to be seen. So it's really exciting that we were all able to come together and be available to do that."

"It (Weinstein's alleged behavior) was shocking and abhorrent, and I think I've spoken about my feelings on that before, so I don't need to say that again. But in relation to this, it wasn't the fear of what would happen to this film. It was knowing that something of abhorrent behavior had been exposed and would be dealt with."

(Reporter: "Was there any worry as a director that maybe this film might not see the light of day?")
"A hundred percent, yes. And those are dark days because not only is your film not the vision—the version that you want frozen in time—and releasing that version would have been hard enough—but not having your film released at all, it's very hard. Because again, not only because you made the film, because you want to express yourself and work through things that you're feeling and tell I think a story that could be relevant and emotional and maybe mean something. But you also took so many people on a ride with you and that trusted you on this journey, and it's important to at least give them your best."

12. SOUNDBITE (English) Alfonso Gomez-Rejon, director, on why this film version released to the mass public for the first time is a director's cut:
"Well, it was a movie that had a very public opening before it should have. And it wasn't kind because there were a lot of ideas that weren't fully formed at the time. And I had the gift of time and the opportunity to shoot new scenes and to actually give it the shape that it deserved and the time that the actors that I needed with in editorial to finesse the performances that our beautiful actors that had given me. So a combination with that and a new score, we added five scenes but still 10 minutes shorter. And now it's at its shape—it has the shape and the themes and it really kind of expresses what I want and is the reason why I wanted to make the movie to begin with. And sometimes you lose your way, but I had the gift of finding my way back."
