'ప్రతీకారం తీర్చుకుంటాం'- నిరసనకారులకు యోగీ హెచ్చరిక

పౌరసత్వ చట్ట సవరణపై తీవ్ర నిరసనలు వ్యక్తమవుతున్న వేళ ఉత్తర్ప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి యోగీ ఆదిత్యనాథ్ సంచలన వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. నిరసనల పేరిట ప్రభుత్వ ఆస్తులకు నష్టం కలిగించినవారిపై ప్రతీకారం తీర్చుకుంటామని వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. నిరసనకారుల ఆస్తులు వేలం వేసి మరీ నష్టపరిహారాన్ని వసూలు చేస్తామన్నారు.

'ప్రతీకారం తీర్చుకుంటాం'- నిరసనకారులకు యోగీ హెచ్చరిక పౌరసత్వ చట్ట సవరణపై తీవ్ర నిరసనలు వెల్లువెత్తున్న తరుణంలో.. ఉత్తర్ప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి యోగీ ఆదిత్యనాథ్ సంచలన వ్యాఖ్యలు చేశారు. నిరసనల్లో భాగంగా ప్రభుత్వ ఆస్తులకు నష్టం కలిగించిన నిరసనకారులపై ప్రతీకారం తీర్చుకుంటామని యోగీ హెచ్చరించారు. నిరసనకారుల ఆస్తులను వేలం వేసి నష్టపరిహారం వసూలు చేస్తామని ప్రకటించారు.
"ప్రజాస్వామ్యంలో హింసకు తావులేదు. పౌరసత్వ చట్ట సవరణను వ్యతిరేకించే ఉద్దేశంతో కాంగ్రెస్, సమాజ్వాదీ, వామపక్షాలు భారతదేశాన్ని మంటల్లోకి నెట్టేశాయి. లఖ్నవూ, సంభల్లో హింసాత్మక నిరసనలు జరిగాయి. వాటిని తీవ్రంగా పరిగణిస్తాం. ప్రజా ఆస్తులకు నష్టం కలిగించిన ప్రతీ ఒక్కరి ఆస్తులను జప్తు చేస్తాం. నష్టపరిహారం కోసం వాటిని వేలం వేస్తాం. ఆస్తులను ధ్వంసం చేసినవారి దృశ్యాలు సీసీటీవీలో నమోదయ్యాయి. వారిపై ప్రతీకారం తీర్చుకుంటాం. నిరసనల పేరిట హింసకు పాల్పడటం ఆమోదయోగ్యం కాదు."-యోగీ ఆదిత్యనాథ్, ఉత్తర్ప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి.
నిరసనలపై నవంబర్ 8 నుంచే 144 సెక్షన్ ప్రకారం ఆంక్షలు ఉన్నట్లు యోగీ తెలిపారు. అనుమతులు లేకుండా నిరసన ప్రదర్శనలు చేపట్టకూడదని స్పష్టం చేశారు. పౌరసత్వ చట్ట సవరణ ఏ మతానికి వ్యతిరేకం కాదని, ఇతర దేశాల నుంచి వచ్చిన శరణార్థుల సహాయార్థమే చట్టం రూపొందించారని తెలిపారు.

దేశంలోని అనేక ప్రాంతాలతో పాటు ఉత్తర్ప్రదేశ్లోనూ పౌర చట్టానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా పెద్దఎత్తున నిరసనలు చేపడుతున్నారు. తాజాగా లఖ్నవూలోని పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో పోలీసులు నిషేధాజ్ఞలు జారీ చేశారు. కొన్నిచోట్ల సమాజ్ వాదీ పార్టీ నేతలు ఆంక్షలను లెక్కచేయకుండా ఆందోళన చేపట్టారు. వారిని పోలీసులు అదుపులోకి తీసుకున్నారు. పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో నిరసనకారులు పోలీసులపై రాళ్ల దాడికి దిగారు. ద్విచక్ర వాహనాలకు నిప్పంటించారు.

"Someone who always got it right and someone who's always ahead of the curve? Well, I think looking back on the past decade, Rihanna, who won you know, she won the Urban Lux Award for Fenty. But I mean, she's a proper fashion icon. I believe the CFDA awarded her back in the States. It's an award recognizing her status as a fashion icon, because I think she's definitely sort of she's reached the levels of Madonna, you know, so to speak, in that, you know, she she really is a proper icon in the way that she kind of anticipates what the trends will be. And she just has her own thing going on. And she has an incredible amount of influence. And she generally, she's quite adventurous, but she doesn't, in a good way, I rarely see a misstep from her."

"Or Kanye West and Yeezy, this was the decade of the Yeezy which took on a whole life of it's own. So there have been so many examples of that. And I think also closely related to that was the cult of streewear which was hugely popular. Streetwear became so incredibly influential. And that was definitely, that did not come from the runway, that came from the street and this idea of this casualisation of fashion. And it was really it's, you know, it's the hoodie, it's the trainer, it's the trackpant. It's a completely different mindset when it comes to the way that you dress. And it's an attitude and it's definitely something that doesn't live on the runway. But it has traveled up to the runway because we saw Virgil Abloh, who originated in the world of street wear with his hugely successful line Off White being appointed creative director of menswear at Louis Vuitton, which was a huge appointment. So we saw a lot of mixing of worlds between street wear and the luxury fashion world. So that was definitely one of the decade's biggest stories in terms of seeing these designers who were definitely existing on the fringes of fashion, like hugely successful in their own right. Labels like Supreme. Massively successful, but then sort of rising to the big Paris houses. You know, Supreme had partnerships with Louis Vuitton as well. So I think that was definitely a massive stoy."

STORYLINE:
RIHANNA, HELENA BONHAM CARTER AND THE RISE OF STREETWEAR ARE THE FASHION HIGHLIGHTS OF THE DECADE
Grazia Fashion Director Kenya Hunt has chosen her fashion highlights of the decade.
Hunt pinpointed Rihanna as a cultural figurehead, saying the recording artist/designer rarely makes a misstep, saying she can "anticipate the trends" and has "her own thing going on."
On a different note, Hunt also selected Helena Bonham Carter as a fashion icon.
"Helena Bonham Carter, who's quite adventurous and eccentric in terms of the way that she dresses, and she has always been and she's very consistent," she mused. "And I think about her because 'The Crown' is on and we are seeing like how incredibly influential 'The Crown' has become since it's been on air in terms of its fashion. But also then you end up looking at the people who are portraying these roles as well. And I think Helena Bonham Carter has always had such a very unique and singular personal style about her."
Looking to the catwalks, Hunt believes the decade could be defined by the rise of streetwear, from Kanye West's brand Yeezy, to designers such as Virgil Abloh progressing from typically streetwear brands to larger more traditional fashion houses.
"It's the hoodie, it's the trainer, it's the trackpant. It's a completely different mindset when it comes to the way that you dress. And it's an attitude and it's definitely something that doesn't live on the runway," said Hunt.
She added that Louis Vuitton's decision to appoint Abloh as Creative Director was the pinnacle of "mixing of worlds between streetwear and the luxury fashion world."
