శ్రీకాకుళం, తూర్లు గోదావరి జిల్లాలకు పిడుగుపాటు ప్రమాదం పొంచి ఉందని రాష్ట్ర విపత్తుల నిర్వహణ శాఖ హెచ్చరించింది. తూర్పు గోదావరి జిల్లాలోని ప్రత్తిపాడు, పిఠాపురం, గొల్లప్రోలుతో పాటు.. శ్రీకాకుళం జిల్లా హిరమండలం, సారవకోట, పాతపట్నంలో పిడుగులు పడే అవకాశం ఉందని చెప్పింది. ఈదురుగాలులతో కూడిన వర్షం కురవొచ్చని తెలిపింది. ప్రజలు అప్రమత్తంగా ఉండి తగిన జాగ్రత్తలు తీసుకోవాలని సూచించింది.

Pope Francis has denounced the "cruel violence" of the near-simultaneous explosions that left at least 190 people dead in Sri Lanka.
The pontiff spoke about the bombings in a special appeal at the end of his traditional "Urbi et Orbi" (to the city and the world) speech following the traditional Easter service at St. Peter's Square on Sunday.
The pope lamented the "grave attacks" on churches and hotels in and just outside of the capital, Colombo, which occurred just as Christian faithful were celebrating Easter Mass.
He went on to say that he prayed for the hundreds injured "and all those who are suffering as a result of this dramatic event".
