तिरुवनंतपुरम : केरल-तमिलनाडु चेक-पोस्ट पर तैनात तमिलनाडु के एक पुलिस अधिकारी की अज्ञात लोगों ने गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी. जानकारी के अनुसार यह घटना बुधवार रात 10 बजे के आस पास की है.
बताया जा रहा है कि घटना के समय चेक पोस्ट पर सिर्फ दो पुलिस अधिकारी मौजूद थे. पुलिस अधिकारी विन्सेंट को अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उनकी मौत हो गई.
कन्याकुमारी, तिरुन्नलवेली और तेनकाशी में सभी चौकियों को हाई अलर्ट पर रखा गया है. तमिलनाडु पुलिस की एक टीम ने घटनास्थल पर पहुंच कर जांच की. अपराधियों को पकड़ने के लिए जांच जारी है.

A police officer, who was stationed at Parasala Kaliyikkavila station, was shot dead in Tamil Nadu-Kerala border. According to reports, an unidentified group of assailants shot at the officer Vincent (58), at around 10 pm on Wednesday.
The reports claim that there were only two officers stationed at the outpost when the incident happened. The masked assailants shot at the Special Sub-Inspector officer four times when the later was inspecting a car coming towards Nagarcoil from Thiruvananthapuram.
Vincent, who was admitted to the hospital with bullet injuries in his forehead, abdomen and leg later succumbed to his injuries. All check posts in districts Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli and Tenkashi have been put on high alert.
A team of Tamil Nadu police reached the spot and carried out the investigation. The investigation is on to nab the culprits.
