New Delhi: Cautioning that India as an emerging economy must learn from mistakes of Pakistan, whose Prime Minister Imran khan had to travel by commercial flight to the US for political meetings, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said India as an emerging economy must have "better financial management".
Speaking at an award ceremony of Defence Accounts Department, the minister said the "excessive militarisation" and "wrong policies" of Pakistan have ruined it.
"For emerging economy like India, there is a need for better financial management. We have a living example in our neighbourhood," he said.
Touching upon the issue of Pakistan funding terror activities on its soil, the minister said, “The international agency Financial Action Task Force (FATF) can anytime blacklist Pakistan for terror funding.”
